About Us
The BBSS Concert Band is a vibrant musical community where students grow as musicians and discover the joy of creating music together. From energetic pop hits and timeless band classics to beloved local favourites, members explore a diverse repertoire that reflects both global and Singaporean musical traditions—deepening their appreciation and passion for music.
Beyond honing their instrumental skills, band members develop discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of camaraderie. The experience of rehearsing, performing, and progressing together cultivates a unique esprit de corps and instills values that extend beyond their years in the CCA.
Students have various opportunities to showcase their talents in both school and public performances. Within the school, the band plays at major events such as the Annual Awards Ceremony, National Day Celebrations, and Rhapsody, the school musical. They also perform for the wider community through platforms such as the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation, bringing their music to audiences beyond the school.
