Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Overview
The ICT Department is committed to supporting the school in the meaningful integration of technology into teaching and learning to nurture BBSSians as digitally empowered, future-ready learners who are responsible and discerning users of technology. Anchored by this goal, we work towards creating a digitally equipped learning environment and providing professional learning opportunities for our staff to become learning designers proficient in harnessing technology to support active learning.
We also partner with parents, the community and industry partners to promote cyber wellness and the responsible use of technology, while enriching our students’ digital literacy and technological skills. The department also keeps abreast of developments in artificial intelligence and explores how it can be used in a safe and ethical manner to enhance teaching and learning, as well as school processes.
